Busy busy... ...
Phew! This week has been kinda tired for me.. not much time to blog bout what happen.. some friends might be asking, "hey, why never update your blog huh???" Apologies. Too busy and tired with work. I worked straight for 4 to 5 days split shift, 12-4, 6-10, and full shift 2-10... the workplace has become like a second home of my own... Although work are repetitive-welcome, serve, take order, quality check, refills, clear up, greetings... I am learning that I am improving every single day...:) Jacq and Carol taught me on how to use the Micros for keying orders. not really good at it but has been putting my best in trying in order for myself as well as the kitchen people to understand. Business were slightly less busy these few days, and I realised that the kitchen has somehow quieten down too... usually when i enter the kitchen, i will def hear Ruby's voice, " Chix caesar! Down fries! One order!" And Lisa will respond, "OK!" haha... yesterday, Ruby taught me a funny lessen~ lifting the tray like lifting weights.up, down, left, right...lol. train my muscles. but seriously, I think Ruby is a very nice manager. She will only scold if you really do wrong things, and she will explain in a nice way. Not like "some manager", scold u in a sarcarstic manner when she is in a bad bad mood. "Oh, how I wish I can work night shift all e time so I dont have to see your face." (cos she is day shift most of e time haha) "Oh and yes, you have said that it is a high class restaurant. so everything has to look good. hmm, so I think it is really unglam for you to always place a can of your diet pepsi at the lounge station where every customer can see once they enter the restaurant ya???" Well... I am not the manager. No rights to say those things. Up to you lo. Not my problem la, but it jus makes my eye sore lo... hahaha...Oh ya, during one of the off days (Tue), I went for Zee's hiphop class at Jurong. Thanks for inviting me there! Before the class, mi nicky, daphy babie, zee and yeeshan went for ice cream waffle at gelare. Yummie! A great chill out before the dance. Taken some pics but will upload them soon. Please bear with me for a few more days ok. its gonna be a few busy n tired days again for me cos i apply off for my birthday hehe... will be back on Tue for work. wah lao... Tue work opening. it means that I cant stay out late on my birthday... thanks to that "someone" who arrange my schedule la hur!Last night off work with Clement at the same time and went for supper with him. He was so damn hungry OMG! haha... he had a burger, fries, drumlets, large drink, taro pie and hershey pie... and still saying tt its not enuff OMG! lol... eat more la u so thin haha. later on Jinky and Jessica came to join us. Wanna chat with them for a while cos their last day of work will be on my birthday and they will have to go back to Philippines to cont study... aiyah.. will sure miss them. thought of buying them a lil farewell present later and bring it down to give them tonight at the restaurant... :) So after the supper, Clement sent me home in a taxi. whoah... it is really so expensive to take a cab in the night le... must pay back Clement some.. oh ya, and thanks to allan for being so worried and concern if i have reached home safely haha... had a good sms chat wif him til 3am this morning, and he still got morning shift today... ... hope he dun be a panda and cut his fingers in the kitchen ya... haha.. if not i will have to put plaster for him as i have promised lol.Ok... going out to buy Jinky n Jessica's farewell presents and later got singing practice and then dance practice with the kids at sunday school.. sigh.. so tired brother thomas n ah fon went to KL, didi went to Anna's house... past few days only me and mummy at home... mummy working tonight so i will be alone after dance practice... anyone meeting me tonight? fuancake is it? hahaha...Birthday wishLIST:
